Batheaston New Village Hall (BNVH) was only completed in January 2022 and is a fantastic new build nestled in the picturesque village of Batheaston, only 4 miles from Bath city centre.
BNVH comprises the main hall area, a smaller downstairs meeting room, a well equipped kitchen, a suite of toilets and upstairs a further meeting room accessed via a staircase. The hall can be hired as a whole or by individual rooms. We provide chairs and tables, as well as kitchenware. With solar panels on the East and West facing roof, BNVH is both environmentally friendly and warm.
The main hall is light and airy with one side opening out via glass doors onto a lovely terrace area, overlooking a field with mature trees and hills beyond. The hall feels modern and welcoming, with its wood sprung floor and high ceiling and is a generous 143 metres square. The bespoke wall rails mean that the hall can be decorated with bunting etcetera.
The downstairs meeting room also has a sprung wooden floor and again is light and spacious opening out on one side via glass doors to the terrace. It can be individually heat controlled and has excellent modern lighting. Seated capacity is for 40 people.
The upstairs room is carpeted, and is equally useful for classes or meetings, seating a maximum of 35.
The kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge and freezer, crockery and cutlery, and at 24 metres square provides plenty of space. Hatched doors open into the main hall.
The main objective of BNVH is to provide a community space for Batheaston and surrounds, but welcomes enquiries from further afield.
