Olivia grew up in Bath, attending junior school in Weston and the then City of Bath Girls’ School but at that time had only been as far East as Larkhall. She moved away to University and then worked in various places in the Uk and for short periods abroad, mostly but not solely in the fields of education, performing arts and visual arts. She always intended to come back to Bath and finally achieved it in 2022 when she discovered Batheaston, fell in love with it and stayed. One of the deciding factors for choosing Northend was the lovely Village Hall and the range of activities it offered. She was also appreciative of the warm welcome she received from the locals here, who soon roped her in to help at the Pop up Pub and she joined Solsbury Sings choir. However her greatest love is the theatre and she has already tried to form a drama club, having heard of the success of the previous one. The present Hall is not so immediately conducive to drama productions but she would like to hear from anyone keen to put on some kind of performance.
Olivia has always been involved in voluntary work of many kinds and was very pleased to be accepted as a trustee of the Hall so that she could become even more involved with the life of the village and the running of the beautiful Hall at its centre. She hopes to be instrumental in encouraging everyone to use it as their own and is willing to help in any way she can.
